The National Sports Academy (NSA) is a specialized higher education institution of the Bulgarian university system, with more than 70 years of history. The NSA is the only university, which is fully specialized in sports science in Bulgaria and one of the few sports universities in Europe. The higher education institution has achieved the highest accreditation score by the National Assessment and Accreditation Service of the Republic of Bulgaria and holds a leading position in the ranking system of university structures in the field of sports education. On this basis, curricula are gradually developed and they have been merged into three faculties:
